Зъбобол
- Върху корена на болния зъб се държи парченце пчелен клей с големината на грахово зърно.
-Приготвя се предварително 30-процентен спиртен извлек от прополис (пчелен клей). За целта 30 г ситно настърган прополис се накисва в 100 мл 70-гуа дусов спирт. Сместа се оставя да кисне 10 дни при стаина температура, след което се прецежда през марля. При зъбобол в течността се напоява памуче и се слага на болния зъб.

While it took slightly longer than anticipated to integrate digital dentistry into the daily practice, the new millennium seemed to have been the catalyst for change as several different CAD/CAM systems have now been introduced as solutions for restorative dentistry.
Today’s CAD/CAM systems, both chair-side and laboratory-based, are being used to design and manufacture metal, alumina and zirconia frameworks, as well as all-ceramic and composite full-contour crowns, inlays and veneers that may be stronger, fit better and appear more esthetic than restorations fabricated using traditional methods.

Teeth whitening is the process of removing stains and discolouration from teeth and improving their colour through a bleaching process to make them look “whiter”.
For heavily stained teeth, a procedure as simple as a scale and polish from a dental hygienist can significantly improve their appearance.
Most cosmetic dental practices offer a combination of immediate, in-surgery teeth whitening and professional take-home tooth-whitening kits with custom-made trays. Both procedures are based on a bleaching process that uses a peroxide-based compound of varying strength (3%-30% peroxide). The higher the concentration of peroxide in the compound, the more powerful the bleaching compound is. While this makes it more effective at whitening the teeth, it also has greater potential to cause damage to the surrounding gum tissue and your lips.

A dental abscess, or tooth abscess, is an accumulation of pus that
forms inside the teeth or gums. The abscess typically originates from a
bacterial infection, often one that has accumulated in the soft pulp of
the tooth.
Bacteria exist in plaque, a by-product of food, saliva and bacteria in
the mouth which sticks to the teeth and damages them, as well as the
gums. If the plaque is not removed by regular and proper tooth brushing
and flossing the bacteria may spread within the soft tissue inside the
tooth or gums, eventually resulting in an abscess.

Зъбната плака, наричана още зъбен налеп е много тънка, пихтиеста ципа, която покрива зъбите през по-голямата част от денонощието. Състои се основно от микроорганизми. Освен тях, в състава на плаката влизат: олющени епителни клетки от устната лигавица, слюнка, сиалозахариди и др.
Зъбната плака не може да се види с просто око. Зъболекарите разполагат със специални багрила, с които могат да я оцветят.
Зъбната плака е много вредна за здравето на зъбите и устата.
Най-известната последица от нередовното почистване на зъбната плака са зъбните кариеси. Но много често зъбната плака става причина за далеч по-тежки и неприятни болести на зъбите и устата.

• дентин (на латински: dentinum)
• зъбна пулпа (на латински: pulpa)
• зъбен цимент (на латински: cementum)
